This spring, the town of Lewes, Delaware saw the installation of a $5 million wind turbine on the campus of the University of Delaware- College of Ocean, Earth and Environment. It is the first of it’s kind on the coast. It is capable of supplying electricity for the entire campus. This is a very big step in finding alternative power sources.
