As a child, one of the most memorable things about Christmas that got me so excited was the family trip to find that perfect Christmas tree. Our whole family would load up in our old green ford pick up truck and make the trek to all the great tree farms located in Sussex County,Delaware..We would usually start out in Seaford, DE. at a place on Middleford road..Although young, Me and my brother would argue and my sister would laugh at us about who was man enough to saw the tree down..We would run around like kids in a candy store to find that perfect tree!.Still today I get that childlike feeling about finding the perfect tree. Although I didn’t find mine this year at a tree farm, I did find it at one of the many local produce stands on the Delmarva Peninsula. From Bridgeville, Seaford, Bethel, Laurel to Delmar, DE., there are are many local produce stands and greenhouses run by good families where you can find a great display of Christmas trees. While your there you can also pick up some great winter fruits and vegetables.  So you see, its kind of the simple things like a family trip for the Christmas tree that make great holiday memories!
