It was certainly an honor to have attended the annual Marvel Cup Award dinner with my husband, Tommy Cooper , Chairman of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, last night in Wilmington, DE.  The Marvel Cup Award was established in 1951 to honor a Delawarean who has made an outstanding contribution to the state, community and society. It is named in memory of Josiah Marvel, who reorganized the Chamber of Commerce and was the first president of the modern-day chamber in 1913-1914.  Each year, the Chamber honors a deserving  recipient, and this year Mike Castle was that recipient.  I enjoyed being a part of the celebration at last night’s event, and I am proud of my husband, Tommy Cooper, for the speech he made and for his part in a successful program!   Author~ Connie Cooper
