If It’s Too Cold For You Outside, DIG IN!!!

January 13th, 2011 · 2 Comments

Now is the time of year where I spend many hours inside talking to myself. Do I need this? Have I worn this lately? What…is… this????

I stick to one room at a time, just like most articles say to do, put some music on and DIG IN! The bags just start forming a line down the hallway. They know where they are going. One by one they get dropped off to some of the many local thrift shops. Oh, I have my favorites, but I try to be fair to them all. The Curiosity Shop in Seaford, DE, the very nice and brand new Teen Challenge Thrift Shop in Seaford DE. Both of these are on Middleford Rd. in Seaford, DE, near the Nanticoke Hospital. The Abacus Thrift Shop in downtown Seaford, DE. The Goodwill on Rt. 13 in Bridgeville, DE, and The Beebe Hospital Thrift Shop on Rt. One in Lewes, DE. They are happy…and I’m happy. My house can breath easier, looks nicer and it is a tax deduction boot! I’ve never really missed anything I’ve taken away. It is a win/win situation for everyone involved.

Carol  Good idea for this time of year. Gee I have an old Sunbeam car to donate. It purrs like a sewwing machine but is not very good for winter. I guess the salvation army wil be glad to receive it.
