Lighthouse Landing is better known as the Sussex County Airport Restaurant. Located at the Airport (21533 Rudder Lane in Georgetown), this is one restaurant you wouldn’t necessarily think to try, but won’t be sorry that you did. On one popular travel website, this little diner literally only has 5 star reviews. People I know who have tried it rave about the food, and although I’ve never tried it myself, I’ve heard that the French Onion Soup is some of the best around. The atmosphere at Lighthouse Landing is relaxed and inviting, and the service is superb! The best part about the location is that the restaurant overlooks the runway, which makes for a unique dining experience. Lighthouse landing is only open for breakfast and lunch, so don’t make any dinner plans, but definitely head in to Georgetown and check out this little gem!
