An annual tradition, the Mummers Parade features 10,000 men and women dressed in colorfully lavish costumes as they twirl, sashay, pirouette and strut up one of the city’s main streets. There were silent and live auctions featuring fabulous items donated by local businesses as well as amazing packaged trips. Tommy bid on a beautiful leather vest for me, and he won! The money raised at this year’s event will help with the completion of the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Medical Center.
